Daily Mode – Hone your skills with fresh twists on familiar trials, served up each day for a new taste of adventure.

Summary Phantom Abyss is a massive asynchronous multiplayer game that casts players into procedurally-generated temples and tasks them with retrieving the sacred relics hidden within deadly chambers.

Blessings range from adding extra heart containers and healing damage taken, to movement-enhancing power-ups such as a post-jump glide, and longer whip reach. Activating blessings costs more with each subsequent redemption, adding a compelling risk-reward element. While some treasure chests are easy to find, many are hidden away in areas requiring dextrous platforming skills to reach, or take precious time away from avoiding an in-pursuit guardian.

And double jump B tier. Heart container is better than double jump. You want long whip and wings anyways, so double jump is pretty useless, plus it glitches out sometimes.

Use their successes and failures to your advantage to progress deeper than they ever could have hoped. Blessings from the Gods As adventurers venture further into a temple, offerings of collected treasures can be made at altars to gain a new blessing for the rest of the run. Collect as much treasure as you can to please the gods and gain a double jump, glide jump, extended slide, damage protection, and more! Unlockable Whips Unlock new whips with success and choose from your collection before venturing into your next run. Each whips carries a minor blessing but also a curse that may complicate your attempt at riches and glory. Three modes Complete a series of progressively more challenging temples in Adventure mode, compete for the best time in Daily mode, and undergo the ultimate challenge in Abyss mode. Permanent Upgrades Scour every nook and cranny to uncover rare keys and unlock your full potential. More health, more speed, more power.

1.0 update sorta killed the vibe for me lots of changes that are worse than in previous versions. I would recommend this if it just rolled back a few updates.

Phantom Abyss also taps into some roguelike elements with its blessing system, which offers you random power-ups for the run’s duration in exchange for collected treasure. Treasure is found in chests hidden throughout each temple, redeemable at statues between floors that offer one of two presented blessings, adding other strategic decisions to the action.

Pelo ability in this game has any kind of detrimental effect on your run, and just because I consider an ability to be Phantom Abyss Speedrun lower tier does not mean that I wouldn't ever pick it up -- however, I personally tend to prioritize my blessings based on the following ranks:

An upgrade well that provides permanent upgrades can be found in the HUB and in the first floor of temples.

The game relies on a flow of fluid movement and speed to succeed. In addition to a whip with grappling functionality, Phantom Abyss

Additionally, Em excesso whips–each with a different blessing and curse–unlock at seemingly random intervals, which isn’t as satisfying as receiving a reward for a specific accomplishment.

Each temple run is a blind charge through a procedurally generated funhouse murder dungeon. These dungeons range in challenge from ‘leisurely, unhurried jog’ to ‘holy shit what the fuck’. Traps include everything from spike walls to bottomless pits, whirling blades and flying bombs, falling blocks and poison darts, and more. Depending on the level, there might even be a chance for an enemy to spawn, a protector of the temple’s treasure that harries the players at every turn.

Currently, it doesn't synergize well with any non-whip movement blessings, as you have to either stand still or crouch-walk to initiate it, which severely limits its usefulness. Even if you have Double Jump, the boost only occurs on the first jump.
